Today, Protect Geauga Parks recognized three outstanding Geauga County citizens for their decades of service to the preservation and protection of parklands at the second annual Heroes of Conservation event. The event was held at the Munson Township Hall and was attended by over 100 supporters of Protect Geauga Parks.

This year’s awards were given to Judge Robert B. Ford, Roy Podojil and Sandy Siegler, each of whom have given decades of service to the cause of conservation in Geauga County.

Tom Ford accepted the award on behalf of his father, Judge Robert B. Ford.

Roy Podojil accepted his award from Jim Mueller, Russell Township Trustee.

Chuck Walder, Russell Township Fiscal Officer presented the award to Sandy Siegler.
