Following up on their January, 2016 editorial calling for the removal of county park districts from the jurisdiction of the probate court, the Plain Dealer editorial board today issued a strongly worded opinion on the budget amendment (HC1793) currently pending in the Ohio House. The editorial, published today, does not mince words in blaming Grendell for the controversy that has embroiled the Geauga Park District since his appointment to the bench in 2011, and pointing out the blatantly unconstitutional language of the amendment.
