In a one-sentence memo today, the Ohio House Government Accountability and Oversight Committee appears to have stymied Judge Grendell’s attempted power grab by concluding their meeting schedule for the summer without holding the final hearing on HB-218. Their next meeting will probably not be scheduled until the legislature returns from recess in the fall.
