Jane Dixon McCullam

NEWBURY TWP. – Jane Dixon McCullam, of Newbury Township, beloved wife of William, died April 25, 2019. She was born in 1940.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; two daughters, Rebecca Moore, of Dublin, and Jessie Jones, of Newbury; and four grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Hathaway Brown School, Class of 1958, and Swarthmore College, Class of 1962. She received her Master of Arts in Psychology from Western Reserve University.

Jane was a member of AAAS and was active in The Native Plant Society of Northeast Ohio, The Northern Ohio Bibliophilic Society and was President of The Cleveland Memorial Society.

Since 1985, she and her husband have operated Cattermole 20th Century Children’s Books, specializing in used and out-of-print children’s books.

Her passion was the outdoors and she was a keen observer of Geauga plants, animals and weather during the 55 years she lived in Fullertown.

A memorial service will be held at her estate, Highfield.
