Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) is a non-profit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change. CCL trains and supports volunteers to build relationships with elected officials, the media and their local community. Our speaker, John Sabin, will describe policies, strategies and accomplishments of CCL and inform participants of ways to get involved. John is one of the Great Lakes Regional Co-coordinators and one of the Ohio State Co-coordinators for CCL. He has also been a social worker for 30 years, working mostly in mental health but also in hospice and palliative care.
