Shelley Blundell 

Shelley Blundell, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in journalism and communication at Youngstown State University. She has written articles, on Akron’s city water including Water: From Crisis to Cleanliness— a history of Akron’s water system.

Alyssa Lutker 

Alyssa Lutker is a recent graduate of Youngstown State University where she has a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology with minors in journalism and biology. As a student, Lutker wrote several news stories about environmental impacts on communities, specifically in relation to health and economics. She has written on he effects of fracking in the Mahoning Valley.
