November election early voting begins today

Early voting for the November 7 election in Ohio begins today. Registered voters can vote in person at their local Board of Elections office between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday from today through October 27. From October 30 through November 3 the hours change to 7:30am — 7:30pm. On Saturday, November 4, the hours are 8:00am — 4:00 pm. On Sunday, November 5, the hours are 1:00pm — 5:00pm.

On election day, November 7, the polls are open from 6:30am — 7:30pm and you can vote in your local neighborhood precinct.

You can also request an absentee ballot from now till October 31. Completed absentee ballots must be delivered to the Board of Elections by election day.

There are new voter ID requirements due to House Bill 458 which was passed by the legislature in 2022.

Valid types of photo identification include:

  • Ohio driver’s license
  • State of Ohio ID card
  • Interim ID form issued by the Ohio BMV
  • US passport
  • US passport card
  • US military ID card
  • Ohio National Guard ID card
  • US Department of Veterans Affairs ID card

All photo IDs must have an expiration date that has not passed.
