It’s Time for Some Coffee & Correspondence!

Odie letter writing

Many of us would like to write letters to our legislators in Columbus and also to local officials to tell them how we feel about the way our Parks are being mismanaged and abused. But it’s a time-consuming task and it’s difficult to know where to begin. So Odie is going to conduct a series of letter writing workshops to help you get started and compose a letter that will be impressive to your State Rep or Senator.

We’ll provide everything you need including stationery, stamps, a list of talking points, names and addresses of public officials and, oh yes, coffee and pastry. Let’s do a little howling!

The first two writing sessions will be held on—

Saturday Feb 27 at the Chesterland Arabica  (1/4 mi. N of 322 on Rt 306)— 10:00am—12:00noon

Sunday Feb 28 at the West Geauga Library— 1:30—3:30 pm

Hope to see you there!

Our first two Coffee & Correspondence sessions were very successful. We had a good turn-out of passionate supporters who went right to the task of composing letters to their state legislators, the Park Commissioners and the Probate Judge.

Saturday's group went right to work composing letters to local media and our members of the Ohio Legislature. Look for their letters in coming editions of the Maple Leaf, Geauga Times Courier and the News Herald.
