Since the day Tim Grendell was appointed to the office of Probate/Juvenile Court Judge (against the recommendation of the Geauga County Republican Party) we’ve had to witness headline after headline describing his latest attempt to avoid oversight and ramrod his personal objectives through the Court and the Park District without a care for the desires of the public or the meaning of the law. We now have an opportunity to change that.
Please request a Republican Party ballot in the primary election and vote for Matthew Rambo. With Rambo on the bench, there will be no headlines about the Chardon Police needing to intervene in a dispute between the judge and the County Auditor. There will be no headlines about a judge threatening other public officials. There simply won’t be headlines about a court that typically only handles private matters.
The primary election is now by absentee ballot only. You must request an absentee ballot from the Geauga County Board of Elections and return the completed ballot by mail (postmarked no later than April 27) or hand delivered to the BOE office by April 28.
