Conservation Conversation—free webinar on Sept. 30

Protect Geauga Parks is sponsoring a Conservation Conversation on Wednesday, September 30 at 7:30PM.

The topic for this virtual webinar event is “New Strategies for Conserving Nature in Northeast Ohio When Climate Change Will Change Everything.”

The program will be presented by David Beach. Mr. Beach is a legendary environmental activist, writer and ecologist—a leading voice in environmental and regional planning issues. He was the founder of EcoCity Cleveland, promoting the design of cities in balance with nature and successful in changing the civic discussion about transportation alternatives, green building, watershed planning and other issues, and Green City/Blue Lake Institute from 2008-2017, the sustainability center of The Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

David will speak on the Regional Biodiversity Vision he helped develop for LEAP (Lake Erie Allegheny Partnership for Diversity), a consortium of conservation organizations who share the common goal: to enhance the biodiversity of our habitats and ecosystems.

The webinar is free, but you must pre-register to attend using the following link:
